Last summer the world
lost an icon, a phenomenon, a humanitarian, an "angel walking the
planet". As the internet crashed and the breaking news sent shockwaves
across the globe, three beautiful children lost the best daddy in the
world and a family was left mourning the tragic loss of a brother, son,
cousin and uncle, as others mourned a beloved friend. And while
thousands moonwalked to Billie Jean in the streets, CDs flew off the
shelves in every country, candles were lit and the praises of the true
King of Pop, Rock and Soul were once again sung en masse, some of us
simply sat weeping, too devastated to move, too shocked to breathe. To
Michael Jackson's devoted fans around the world, he was not just an icon
or a legend; he was family. He was (or rather, IS and always will be)
as close in our hearts as a dear family member, a best friend, a healer,
a spiritual teacher of sorts, our inspiration and our strength. He
changed lives and awoke people to the call of love and the mission to
heal the world. And we stood by Michael, we defended him, we believed in
him and we loved him when the
world would rather have seen him crucified. Words cannot express how
deeply into the soul love can go or how utterly destroyed one can feel
after a day like June 25th. But love,
like the soul, goes on ... and what we do with it may be as important
for the world as it is for us. So whether you're a 'new' fan, an 'old'
fan or just enjoy his music, let us celebrate him with that love, let us
bow our heads in respect, let us spread the L.O.V.E. in his honor, let
us change the world in loving memory of Michael Jackson. And may we
never allow the world to forget this amazing man, his caring nature and
the magical gifts of joy and hope he gave us all. Thank you, Michael. We

TRIBUTE events and fan
gatherings to love and remember Michael and offer support to each other
are taking place in cities across the globe on June 25, 2010 or on the
weekend. Below is a list of things most could participate in no matter
where in the world you are. Please feel free to add a comment or tell everyone in the MLP forum
if you know of happenings in your city and we will continue to update
this post with worldwide tribute information. Update: Also see a new

where you can tell the world how you'll mark this day in memory of
Michael and/or find other fans to spend it with.

Major Love Prayer
- Major Love Prayer will take place at
2pm Los Angeles time (see time zone chart) on the 25th as always. You can
join in from home, from a fan gathering, from work, from wherever you
will be. It is our hope that this prayer will be extra powerful, a
massive global effort to heal the world with love, as
a beautiful tribute to our inspiration and greatly-missed
humanitarian, Michael Jackson. Please set a reminder on your cell phone
and spread the word! Let us change the world and "all pray at the same time tonight". If you are organizing
or contributing to an MJ-related event, we'd love for you to find a way
to incorporate MLP. You can contact
us directly if you're planning to include Major Love Prayer in your
fan gatherings on the 25th or if you have any questions. Download

MJ World Cry 2010
- Taking place just 30 minutes after
Major Love Prayer, this is another tribue event in cities all across the
planet. MJ World Cry seeks to unite us all in memory of Michael with a
candlelight vigil accompanied by the song "Cry". ("If we all cry at the same
time tonight.") Just like MLP, this
is a not-for-profit simultaneous event, linking people across the globe
at the same moment for a common purpose, to keep hope for a better
world alive. To find an event in your city or become a World Cry

• World Cry
  London - The night in London begin at 7pm at Picadilly Circus
  (Trocadero) with the Thousand Tears Tribute. At 9pm is a sponsored
  Moonwalk for Humanity to benefit SOS Children's Villages, at 10pm is
  Major Love Prayer, then MJ World Cry commences at 10:30pm. For more

One Million MJ Fans Pledge to Light a Candle
- at 2:26pm PT on the 25th. This also
takes place just after Major Love Prayer. You can join their Facebook
group to make the pledge.

Charitable Donations in Michael's Honor
-If you are able, another suggestion is
to make a donation to a charity on the 25th in Michael's memory. A list
of charities he publicly supported is available at allmichaeljackson.com.
Some possibilties include Make-A-Wish Foundation or Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Fans have also set up Memorial Funds with Unicef and the Nature Conservancy's Plant a Billion
Trees campaign (MJ Fund ref no.
1207-5587).

One Rose For Michael - These are fans gathering small donations to
purchase over 2000 roses that will be placed at Holly Terrace for
Michael on the 25th. See the One Rose For Michael Facebook group to contribute.

Doves of L.O.V.E. - A fan group gathering donations to have 200
doves released at 4pm on the 25th at the gates of Forest Lawn. The
release will be done by a professional company in the L.A. area. For

Sending Flowers &
Cards to Forest Lawn - There
are several possibilities to send flowers and cards for those not in the
L.A. area. The Sunflowers For Michael Project from mj-777.com has
arranged for a weekly delivery of flowers accompanied by a card with our
names and messages to Holly Terrace. (Thank you, btw!) Another group,
Michael Jackson Fans of Southern California, gathers in front of the
mausoleum every month on the 3rd and of course they will be there on
June 25th with flowers and cards. For information about sending items,
please see their website or the SoCal Facebook group.(Thank you so much as well!).
Forest Lawn also has their own flower
shop that can deliver arrangements to Holly Terrace.

happiness, the excitement, the magic, the anticipation, the wonder, the
mastery, for all that's shiny and sparkly and so splendidly bright. Thank you for the music, the
words, the tunes that will never get old. Thank you for singing to us
with that beautiful voice. Thank you for the emotion, the elation and
all that was such a true revelation. Thank you for the dance, the dance,
wow - the dance! Thank you for the energy, the beat, for the movement
you channeled from God to your feet. Thank you for the smiles, the
laughter, the joy of life that shone in your eyes and went straight to
our hearts. Thank you for your daring, your innovation, for keeping the
world on its toes with cutting edge inspiration. Thank you for the
dreams, the surprises, the fantasy and the hope. Thank you for the
adventure and for challenging the status quo.

Thank
you for your strength, your courage, for never giving up, even when it
seemed the whole world was against you. Thank you for not giving in when
you knew you were right, for standing and fighting for truth, not for
spite. Thank you for your determination and endurance, although we'd
have given anything if only it hadn't been needed. Thank you for living
from the soul, for your kindness and caring, for trying to make a
difference, for letting your light shine and brighten so many lives.
Thank you for not being afraid to cry, to show us we could really try to
be who we are inside, for making it cool to be God's glow, hold hands
and heal the world. Thank you for never letting us forget the children
of the world, our future, so desperately in need of love and protection.
Thank you for reminding us that we are
the children, that innocence will guide us in the right direction.
Thank you for always being so gorgeous inside and out that we couldn't
help but chase you. Thank you for the hugs, for loving us more, for your
patience with we who intensely adore. Thank you for the comfort and
gentleness you radiated from within. Thank you for the gift of
awakening, to each other and to the heartbeat of the planet. Thank you
for all the wonderful things I've forgotten in this moment that I'll
think of later and wish I'd added to this list. Thank you for all the
years, even the ones in which we shed tears, for in the end it was all
for LOVE. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the LOVE. Love is what
matters and we understand this so. But for the world to know it... did
you really have to go??? My God, we miss you.

Michael,
you are so loved. You know
that, don't you? You can feel it. We can feel it. And thank you for that
as well. The only one who could get us through a year without you is
YOU. Thank you, Michael. We will remember you always, celebrate you
always, love you always, stand by you always. We promise. May you be
surrounded in love, peace and light for all time. You're forever in our
hearts, reminding them to beat with

♥ Michael Jackson 1958 - Eternity ♥

Hey MJ fam, great connecting with you all today. Wow, it was a beautiful experience for me. Always is, of course. I immediately shed some tears in the beginning as I sent my love to Michael's children, his Mother, and his whole family. God bless them. I then moved onto sending love to the whole planet and imagining us healed, whole, and one in this love. ♥ I did this for about 11 minutes and then I put on Man in the Mirror and You Are Not Alone. I started to really cry listening to YANA...but tears of happiness and intense gratitude. I could just FEEL Michael being with all of us...and it was just so touching. He never left us and he never will. My God what a beautiful soul...my heart becomes so overwhelmed when I really stop to think about that. How giving and caring he really is. He never gave up on the world when he was here in the flesh and he STILL has not given up on us. :'(

After that I put on the song Cry for the World Cry event. And omg THAT was intense. I sat down cross legged and imagined my spirit connecting with every one of you guys across the planet and I held out my hands and could feel myself taking someone's hand on each side. Then I saw us all surrounding the planet in space...holding hands...with Michael too...and we were just singing along, sending our energy and love to the planet and just sharing in the emotion we all felt. Just really being there for each other, and for the world, WITH Michael...all together as one. I just cried my eyes out through the whole thing the energy was so intense. It was like I was feeling not only my own but everyone else's pain, happiness, and love all at once. And Michael..oh, Michael...feeling as if I were in his presence, and seeing the impact he has made and how he cares so much to join us all in this way...it was just overwhelming. So many tears. Tears of joy, healing, sorrow, happiness and love. Just really a beautiful experience. I feel so filled up with light, and yet also like a big weight has lifted somehow now. I just feel better...and I'm so grateful to have been able to share this with you all.

I just wanted to say that yesterday evening's event in London....was very emotional and meaningful. We moonwalked, created a tribute wall of teardrops for Michael, raised money for SOS, orphaned children's charity, lit our candles and stood in silent thought and prayer at 10.26p.m. Then we all sang Cry and tears fell. However we also smiled and laughed and danced.....fantastic performance of Thriller by the organisers....!!! Thankyou. It's all for love, L.O.V.E. Ana.xxxxx

Dear MJ family,

yesterday I had an opportunity to pray for the first time with my daughter. How precious it was for her, to begin to understand what it means to be able to connect, to feel that energy. We were there with red candles lit and her favourite Michael picture in the middle of a red heart made by candles...and our hands were together, our hearts were together with all of you, with Michaels mother and children, with Michael... then we went to the computer to listen to Cry and to sing it together with everybody...and to try to understand his message again and again, to try to understand what is up to us, how to become that change. How to live in Love instead of fear and hatred. How to become 'one in joy, one in pain, one in love, one in service and in consciousness'.

I am embarrassed to confess that I failed in doing the prayer. But please know that I tried!! I tried so hard to focus, but I failed. I felt so restless and anxious as the day flew by.

But, at 2:26 PM LA Time (which was 11:26 PM Norwegian time), I looked at the candle that was used during the "Cry" vigil........a final message from Michael:




AND: the following day I got this sign: I listened to MJ Tunes when "Will You Be There" came on, and I of course sang along, and had to wipe away a tear at the spoken ending of the song....as I wiped that tear away I went to YouTube, and saw that this video had been added:
